The Book: Religiosity, Secularity and Pluralism in the Global East

Dear members of EASSSR,

A year has passed since the inaugural conference of EASSSR, which was held on July 3-5, 2018 at Singapore Management University. As you may remember, the theme of the conference was “Religiosity, Secularity and Pluralism in the Global East.”

As we are preparing for the second annual conference of EASSSR under the theme “East-West Encounters and Religious Change in Modernizing East Asia,” which will be held on July 27-28, 2019 at the Hokkaido University in Japan, I am pleased to announce that the Special Issue reprint book “Religiosity, Secularity and Pluralism in the Global East,” coedited by Fenggang Yang, Francis Jae-ryong Song and SAKURAI Yoshihide, has been officially published. Each participant of the 2nd conference will receive a free hardcopy of this book at the conference site.

Furthermore, the reprint book will be listed in the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB), Google Books and WorldCat, and is available through several distribution platforms, e.g., Amazon.
